The One and Only (2021)

Since Pyo In-Sook was just a baby, her parents abandoned her to her grandmother, who took care of her. The path he has taken in life has not been comfortable or easy. Now he works in an open bathhouse, washing the bodies of clients. His defense strategy is to avoid expressing his emotions to others.

A day later, a doctor tells him that he is terminally ill and likely to die soon. Despite facing her mortality, In-Sook remains emotionless. Sook begins her treatment at an assisted living facility and is introduced to two women who live a life different from her own: Seong Mi Do, a social media celebrity, and Kang Se Yeon, an ordinary, isolated and abandoned housewife. On a rainy day, In-Sook meets Min Woo Cheon, a hit man who works at a private detective's office. Woo Cheon's calm exterior belies deep sadness.

Each of the three women chooses to take the life of the person who did wrong before her death, but as they begin to become known, the anger begins to subside. As In Sook and Woo Cheon begin to feel a connection between them, she begins to think about her options.

It's been a while since I loved watching the first episode. I was blown away by the first season of The One and Only.

It's not a sloppy plot. Also, it was fresh, broken and raw in the same way. But unfortunately, it doesn't provide any introduction to their characters. Instead, it takes you right into the middle of the story, where the characters are in the final stages of their life journey, even though it's only the beginning of their story.

I couldn't find a filler scene in this episode. Of course, it could be because it's the first episode. I'm not sure it's any less than the first episode in terms of quality though. The tone, the atmosphere and the pain of the characters are an indication of what is going on in the story.

I am a huge AEJ enthusiast. I liked it from the first time I saw it. Despite working in the field for more than ten years, it was not until 2018 that he entered television as a medium. She is a theater actress and, on top of that, a stage actress, a musical actress, and you can imagine her emotions and her ability to show the wide range of roles and characters. Not only is she a multifaceted actress, but she can also channel feelings through characters of incredible size to bring them to life. She was not disappointed in this regard either, excellent work. Neither less nor more is a hammer that sometimes hits you. What I expected was fulfilled, and I am delighted. There is no doubt that Kim Kyung Nam could not live up to the character he plays. I am in awe of the other characters and eager to see how their stories will unfold and how the people of Ahumiti will be able to heal each other before leaving this existence. I had no idea that the first episode of Pyo On Sook would turn out to be so exciting and that I would have soul mates so quickly. They seem too busy to get to know each other and fit in well, so jumping right in seems like the best option, and I'm glad it is because presentation and speed are often not crucial.

The scenes of his grandmother are heartbreaking. Why did this happened? When parents act carelessly, it is they who must bear the blame for the child's crimes. The show will reveal a variety of bloodsucking stories, but at the same time, we will see that those at the heart of these stories are living their last days.

The trio and the other will heal each other, and at the point of death, a will to live will arise. I just hope they stick to the story and that what shouldn't happen doesn't happen. Otherwise, the report may not make sense.
